ART THERAPY GROUPS

Art therapy groups give people a creative way to explore what’s going on inside without needing to have all the right words. Together, we use art-making, reflection, and connection to help participants notice patterns, express emotions, and build new ways of relating to themselves and others. No art experience needed — just curiosity, openness, and a willingness to make something real.

EMOTIONAL CREATURES : A 4 Week Art Therapy Group

STARTING IN JULY 2026

This in-person art therapy group uses creature-making as a way to explore emotions, inner experiences, and parts of ourselves that can be hard to name directly. Over four weeks, participants will design and sew a creature that represents something from their internal world — maybe an emotion, a protective part, a younger part, a messy part, or something that has been asking for attention.

This group is less about making something “pretty” and more about slowing down, getting curious, and learning to relate to difficult emotions with more acceptance and compassion. We’ll use art-making, reflection, and group sharing to explore what our creatures need, what they protect, what they carry, and how we might make more room for them.

GROW with the FLOW: A Creative and Movement Based Workshop Exploring the Impact of Chronic Illness on Mental Health and Identity

STARTING IN JULY 2026

This 6-week virtual group is for women and non-binary folx living with chronic illness who want space to explore identity, body relationship, and self-understanding both related to and beyond diagnosis.

Each group will begin with a guided yoga practice focused on gentle movement, breath, mindfulness, and nervous system awareness. The goal is not performance or pushing the body, but building practical tools for listening inward, honoring capacity, and reconnecting with the body in a compassionate way.

The second half of group will use art-making as a way to process what came up during practice. Participants will respond to creative prompts exploring themes like identity, grief, resilience, body trust, frustration, limitation, adaptation, and the parts of self that still exist outside of illness.

Art supplies will be mailed to participants ahead of time so everyone has access to the small materials needed. No yoga or art experience is required. This group is about slowing down, creating, reflecting, and being witnessed in a supportive therapy space.
